- Summary
- Coordinate, create, implement generally recognized and required law-office-management systems and safeguards in compliance with ethical standards of practice.
- Duties and responsibilities

- Design and implement law-office-management systems; and,
- design and implement case-monitoring and case-tracking systems; and,
- design and implement client-communication and -tracking systems; and,
- organize and execute special projects, such as, but not limited to, the filing of mass motions; and,
- collaborate with Coordinator to format and produce weekly e-communications to all volunteers, DACA beneficiaries, naturalization beneficiaries and applicants, Protection Campaign participants, and NMD core group reporting legal news and community-participation actions; and,
- periodically collaborate with the Coordinator to develop and perform quality-assurance reviews to ensure compliance with applicable standards of practice and ethical rules; and,
- facilitate the development and execution of special projects; and,
- train volunteers on the implementation, use, and monitoring of user-friendly case-management systems; and,
- other duties as the needs arise.
- Knowledge and skills
-
- Knowledge of law-office organizational and management requirements, both formal requirements and systems that facilitate compliance with generally recognized standards of practice and ethical rules; and,
- ability to create and implement volunteer-friendly law-office-management systems; and,
- ability to train community members in the use of management systems to enhance and support their work; and,
- ability to organize community support and understanding of these systems; and,
- ability to read, write, and speak fluent English and Spanish.
- Desired qualifications
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor for compliance/quality-assurance purposes all required law-office-management systems. Ability to work in community; ability to share information and teach volunteers to become as proficient as Administrator in the creation, implementation, and monitoring of such systems to facilitate the highest standard of practice achievable in a largely volunteer-staffed setting.
- Contract conditions
- Salary commensurate with experience.
