For the first week—sustaining fee: $450

The recommended fee for summer participants helps us support the costs of providing humanitarian aid year-round, beyond June and July. By paying above the base fee you are not only covering the actual costs of running the summer program—which include housing, food, transportation, and humanitarian-aid supplies—you are also ensuring that we can continue doing this work beyond your stay.

For the first week—base fee: $300

This fee reflects the true cost of running the summer program. This means covering training supplies, food, transportation, and volunteer coordination.

For every following week: $75

 

We want our program to be accessible to people with less access to resources. Please be in contact with the volunteer coordinator if the base fee is still prohibitive. We will work with folks! No one is turned away for lack of funds.

Fundraising

Grassroots fundraising to come out and do this work is highly encouraged. Grassroots fundraising efforts have included fundraising dinners, events, tabling, crowdfunding, and presentations. We have resources, fact sheets, presentation materials, and further ideas so please feel free to reach out. We want to support you in supporting us.

Submitting volunteer fees

If you are invited to volunteer with us, a deposit of $150 is due one month before your session’s start date to reserve your volunteer spot. The deposit represents your commitment to volunteer if accepted and placed. We need this commitment from you to ensure that we fill each volunteer slot and run volunteer programs at our full capacity. If you cancel, your deposit will not be refunded. The balance of your volunteer fee is due one week before your session’s start date.

You will receive an email invoice from No More Deaths via Square. Please check your inbox and send payment by the due date. If you are unable to pay via credit or debit card online, please notify the volunteer coordinator and send a check to:
