The Gila Gear-Lending Library is meant to support short- and long-term volunteers by providing gear to participate in Desert Aid. The intention is to provide paths of accessibility and mitigate cost when volunteering in Desert Aid programming. The lending library is set up as a deposit-based lending system. Volunteers get their deposit back once items are returned to the library. As of now the lending library has limited items and operates on a first-come-first-served basis.

Items available include:

• Day packs (for carrying water)
• Tents
• Sleeping bags
• Miscellaneous hats and accessories
